In the course of rewatching the series, there are certain tropes that John and Paul discovered that run throughout the series. We'll add to these lists as we progress through the podcast.
Oscar in Waiting
Oscar seems to spend a lot of his time sitting around and doing "The Move" while waiting for Steve or Jaime to return from his dangerous missions.
The Steve (or Jaime) and Rudy Show
Paul has commented how the Rudy episodes where he gets out of the lab were always better and gave whatever actor was portraying him a chance to stretch his acting muscles.
Both Steve and Jaime have had to pretend to be something they weren't and quite often changed their last name (hardly ever their first) in order to not be recognized (like their faces wouldn't tip people off).
The OSI Files
It was Kevin Lauderdale who brought up the idea for a comic book of all the other projects that Oscar and Rudy oversee at OSI. Here's the list with the episode and project.
SMDM Season 2: The Pioneers (cryogenics); The Pal-Mir Escort (bionic heart); The Seven Million Dollar Man (Barney Miller, second bionic man); The Midas Touch (illegal gold mining operation); Act of Piracy (underwater earthquake sensors); The Cross-Country Kidnap (cryptologist); Lost Love (air purification system); Return of the Robot Maker (Braham project - new energy source); Look Alike (high resolution hologram); The E.S.P. Spy (underground laser weapon installation); The Bionic Woman (Jaime Sommers, first bionic woman)
